New feis coming to Utah February 2010

Since the Utah feis is now hosted by The Crawford school of Irish dance alone, Tina Shelley has decided to start a new feis in Utah. It will be hosted by the Shelley school of Irish dance and will be held next February 2010.

This is huge because Utah has only ever had one feis. Now there will be 2 every year! Great for those of us in Utah who have to travel a lot to compete. Also, since Utah is a central state, a lot of dancers from surrounding states compete here every year. Now they can do it more than only once a year!

The annual Utah feis is now only a couple weeks away. I hope to see you all there as well as next February!

Actually, there will be three feiseanna in Utah. Good luck with the Shelly Feis… what will it be called?

I know! I heard that Power Academy was going to start one too around October or something, but I don’t have any inside info on that one. I sure hope so!

Not sure what it’s going to be called, one of the recent suggestions was ‘Rocky Mountain Feis’. I like that one myself, but it could be called anything at this point.

i beleive it will be called the crossroads feis. My inside sorce says they are stil having it this october 2009, although no official info has been posted! It will be the weekend of october 10th i believe! They have a lot of fun ideas and some great specials planned!

Well its confirmed! Power academy is having a feis ocotober 10th!!!! My inside source paid out! Check feisworx Its finally on the feis’s comming soon! So be watching! Its called the crossroads feis and it should be really fun (lots of fun specials)

ok….new inside sorce tells me Webber irish dance and claddah are all planning feis’ for 2010-2011 here in Utah! I wasnt wrong about crossroads feis! I will keep you posted as my inside info comes available. My insider says they may combine, or act individaully, either way, thats four to five feis’ here in Utah by 2011!
